I look effin hilarious

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE! =]

 This morning i was just doing a daily things.. or weekly... whatever... but yea lately my face has been SUPER oily and dry since Christmas was over and I had money I spent it =] YEP! I spent it on face masks, face scrub, and cotton pad [really was in need of them]. The face masks i bought from Forever 21 in Copley on Newbury street. I had a gift card from Ann as a christmas present. In the picture I'm using the green tea face mask =] green tea is good for your skin naturally. Why? Well....

- Green tea is naturally rich in antioxidant that will diminish weeks of dirt and grime + oil from your face. because we live in a no-so-great environment [hint hint] for example: smoking, sunlight, pollution. You would need something to just diminish it so yea you can have a healthy face not a face full of harsh chemicals. It's an organic product to put on your face for a bit to relax. [I wasn't relax my boyfriend persuade me to play COD: Black ops... So I was amped the whole time =P] 

~Note: I do not wear makeup -.-" but I've been stressing a lot and haven't been taking good care of my skin so I needed the mask.

Anyways BEFORE using the mask I use the St. Ives Apricot scrub. It's a face scrub that has exfoliating bead in them to break down and prevent blemishes and blackheads. It's an oil free product and it's perfectly alright with the skin. Although you would think "But it'll dry out my skin" - No it does not =] it feels like it but it has moisturizer in the scrub.  The beads feels harsh but trust me it's for exfoliating your skin =] Now you don't want dead skin on your face to clog your pores right =] 

So After the scrub I used to Biore pore strips. I cannot be too careful on just depending on the scrubs. I need a little more help on cleaning the pores out. I had to put it on until it has fully dry to peel off. Well i wouldn't need to tell you guys since you guys know how to use it =]

So These are the mask I bought at Forever 21. It's about $2-$3 each. I used the green tea mask [far left] and it smells terrific and relaxing [mind you i was amped during black ops] and the other two ate yogurt masks. One is strawberry and the other is kiwi. It's just to smooth your skin. I bought a separate inexpensive large foundation brush JUST for the yogurt mask. I do now want to use my other make up foundation brush with the yogurt mask.

But yea this was just a quick note on what to do =P I got bored and since i haven't been updating I should correct? =] 

 Tip: Try investing in some inexpensive blotting paper. Yes your skin will feel fine but it might get oily during the day so you want something that will get the excess oil off your face. I bought this at Forever 21 for around $3-$4. it has a mirror and everything. =] -Loo at my macbook pro!- lol!

A pleasant surprise

So I just literally woke up. I went to the bathroom then checks the mail and what do I find? A package but from who? Well durh LINDA TRAN!! <3

Such a pleasant surprise to see a package in my mail =] Made my day starting out brighter ^.^

I had to cover the address don't want anyone stalking up on me and linda ya know ;] lol So anyways I received this mini package in my mail box [how awesome!] It's like surrounded by clear tape! but hey at least it didn't fall out or else I'd be screwed =D









 So the back of the package [i tend to take pics of it] is a cute sleeping bear I think =D









I got really frustrated when I couldn't open it lol -NO I did not have nay scissors around-

So these were in the package a loving letter, 2 Rimmel london exaggerate waterproof eye definer, an earring & necklace set from forever21, silk scented paper soap, NYX - Goddess of the night lipgloss, and a white silk dress with lace in the front.

WTH happened to Sushi?

Well, thing is... I've been busy lately especially with school. Finals are coming up and I have LOTS of things to do. I've missed some homework because I was out sick. But it's reading beside I'm passing the class.

So I guess December IS my lucky month. 3 interview in one week. 1 interview on Tuesday 7th, and 2 interviews on Thursday 9th. Not only the interview went great BUT... -pause for greatest effect- I GOT THE JOB. YEP! I am hired and working for California Pizza Kitchen [CPK] in the Cambridge Side Galleria Mall. My position is a server and they are absolutely delightful. I was interviewed by 2 people. They both loved me. But there was one specific problem. My school schedule. Since training was on Monday at 4pm i wouldn't make it. The reason I was hired? Well they convinced the trainer to fix the time or move the training date to weekends for me to attend to. So she moved it to 6pm which is an hour AFTER I finish my class =) so yes I'm hired ^.^ not only that it doesn't take more then 20 minutes to get to the mall since it's SO close to the school. I simply hop on the Forest hill train to North Station [one stop] then get off hop on the green line to Lechmere get off at Lechmere Station then walk to the mall simple as that =)

But yes that's my update. I'm currently in the mist of making a few other blogs like "Sushi's College Adventure" and "Life Of Working"

Still in the mist of making it. I might start up my very own website. I don't know yet but I'm aiming for the 2 new blogs =)

Salon Review: Paradise Nails

So... Finally I'm well enough to blog about this nail place.

So me and my friend went to this nail place Paradise Nails since we had no time to wait at Miniluxe [awesome place].
The place is own by a husband and wife on a second floor apartment. I believe that the person who did my nails did a decent job. As I'm a manicurist I've noticed ALOT of flaws in the "salon":

For one the place was way to small and there were no vents to distribute CLEAN air. Therefore I became sick because of the fumes in the "salon" and the windows weren't open at all so it was just lingering in the air. Also the nail polishes weren't standing some were just laid down on it's side like it's chilling. The utensils weren't sterile so that got me on edge even more. Many should know that each customer should have individual nail filer and buffers. [For example mini luxe gives you mini ones =D] But the metal utensils weren't sterile and it made me very cautious since the person who did my nails pushed my cuticle back and it hurt more than it suppose to.

Another flaw was that the nail polish was left on my cuticle [BAD] while he was cleaning of my old polish. When he applied top coat the top coat was also on my cuticles. Although nail polishes on cuticle peels off during hot showers it's very bad. The chemicals inside the nail polish getting into your cuticle [EW!]and your cuts which will cause and infection. Even when the nail polish on the cuticle peels off that's also the reason why your polish on you nail chip off faster. Nail manicurist should ALWAYS take a bamboo stick that has a flat end with cotton on it dip into acetone [nail polish remover] and clean the polish that is on the skin. There fore the result will come to clean neat and not hazardous to clients.

The polishes, some are dry, some are ALMOST gone, and were diluted because it hasn't been use for along time. There weren't as many colors as i expected they would have. But as long as they have red it's find by me.

The price was fair. Manicure was $12 I believe. For a mani-pedi it is around $32 I believe. But it was so confusing finding the place since it's on the 2nd floor of an apartment. Not only that you have to ring the doorbell to go up. The hall ways and stair ways are very narrow so be VERY cautious especially when you're walking in heels.

~ Other than that it was a very decent visit to the salon. I wish the manicurist cut my hang nails. Even Miniluxe didn't do that for me I get pissed because I paid for good service.

My Birthday =)

Today is/was my 19th birthday =)

So... Yesterday (11/13/10) I had a mini party only 3 people came. Excluding my boyfriend. Jivani, Thu, and Rachel came. We all went to Ihop after playing Call of Duty: Black Ops. [Yes I play wanna fight about it?] After Ihop they left. Me and my boyfriend decided to rent some movies.. So we rented Scott Pilgrim VS The World, Killers, and Jonah Hex. THOSE ARE THE GREATEST MOVIE for one night with chips and dips =D

Today (11/14/10) is my REAL birthday =) Had a shitty morning but it was ALL good, Hannie [bubble butt] taught me how to drive =D then went out with phi phi for TGI Fridays. An awesome day it was ^.^ I didn't have a care in the world about people needing to be entertained or happy. [I used to plan my own parties so shit happens] Then one I got home my mom came home shortly with a cake.. White chocolate Mousse Cake.. to be exact. It's so yummy she also bought KFC =D *even more yums* then she gave me presents...

Ann signed us up for an organic facial that was produced by the company Super by Dr. Nicholas Perricone on Friday. I must say the stuff WORKS WONDERS!!! and I PERSONALLY LOVE IT. They did a half face treatment so I can compare with the "untouched" skin I was happy my face was literally brighter than the "untouched" side.

-- So I love this product bought it with pleasure. The smell isn't all that yummers to my tummers but it's a very good product to be using. It's a line off of coach call "Poppy" It's red and the designs are golden. my boyfriend said it looks like  a li xi it must mean I'm lucky to get it =) They also gave me and Ann the sample of a coach perfume. The lady was SUPER nice to us and helped us out a lot. Thanks to Ann for choosing my color because she knows me so well <3

Keep your face CLEAN!

So let's talk about cleanliness to the face to improve it to near perfection.

So lately I've been breaking out. Why? you make ask...

Old make-up proximately over a year old.

Old make-up should be thrown out between 3-6 months ESPECIALLY liquid make up and eye pencils or liquid liners

Once you open liquid from the first time you buy it bacteria will start to get into it than months later there will be a really distinct smell [really bad odor]

Only does it not HARM your face it makes you produce even more acne, red bumps, irritation, inflammation, and infections will start.

What kind of infection you make ask?

Well for one; using eye pencil, liquid liners, and liquid foundation - you will end up with an eye infection call conjunctivitis or pink - eyes. 

Another if you aren't convince; 

MRSA - Yes it can happen to ANYONE and it's infectious like a zombie apocalypse. 

Prevention to all of this; 

- Be Clean

- Always Clean your brush after EVERY use

- Wash your face or use face wipes before sleeping (DON'T EVER SLEEP WITH MAKEUP ON)

- Throw liquid make up away after 3-6 months

   ~ Liquid make up includes; Foundation, Eye liners, mascara, cream based make up products.

   ~ I would recommend that you squeeze the foundation and any other liquid make up onto your hand to use a brush instead of just putting the make up right onto your face with the brush that contacted the liquid make up. Of course the liquid liners you can use the brush.

- Powder should never be use over 1 year [even if there are left]

Products I've use to prevent:

-- So Lancome Creme Radiance [$30] and Neutrogena wave [$30]

~ I use these products either together or separate. I wash my face in the morning BEFORE applying makeup on. I would lather the Lancome Creme Radiance into my face then use the Wave to finish the rest. I works really well I'd use this method every 2 days. Afterward apply a toner.

- Lancome Tonique Radiance

~ This is the toner that I use. It's for mixed skin [oily&dry] Toner are for after after you wash your face with the face cleanser. It would take the dirt and oil that is left over that the cleanser haven't picked up.

-- Sephora Make up Face wipes [$15]

~ It's well worth the money. It's for when you come home late and are too tired to go to the bathroom and clean your face. Use this wipes to take your make up off. If you were to elave make up on all night I hope you love visitors that next morning [break outs]. Then apply toner.

- Brush Cleanser [It varies by products]

~ ALWAYS, ALWAYS clean your brushes so they are fresh for applying new makeup. Why must you clean your brushes? You don't want bacteria and oil from the day before BACK on our face right? Plus it sits there on your desk and collects the dirt and dust. Now you don't want that on your freshly cleaned face right?

Take these precaution and tips and your face will still be near to perfection =)

Even though make-ups don't have expiration date. You HAVE to throw them out even when it's expensive. I know it hurts =/ but you have to it's your health on the line. Not only that your skin will break out even more and not all of the skin care around the world could help you after.

What's Been Going on?

So what is up? =)
Nothing? Ah I see =P
Well I've been hanging out with my friends. Most fun week EVER!!! =D
So Friday I went to the USS Salem haunted ship near the Weymouth bridge in the ship yard. It was fun, Thu and I ran through the maze while I screamed ALOT!! I was in major shock half the time. She led the way of course I'm really blinded in the dark and she's not. So while running I fell and messed up both of my knees pretty bad >.< it's scraped and bruised but I would be fine ^.^
You know how you are suppose to WALK through haunted houses/places... well there was only 2 of us so we ran like hell! got out in 10 minutes ~woot~ new record =D lol
It was also our first time going there, I got to say I recommend going there it's worth the money just WATCH YOUR STEP! I'm serious!! I forgot battle ships door ways are elevated so I tripped and fell.

weekly update

So it's my weekly update =]

This whole week have been so stressful trying to find a job, re-downloading all of the things back on my computer.
ANYWAYS my new computer is awesome, windows 7, I have to say it lives it to its' potential. When i first start it and plugged in my printer and web cam it automatically find the program download it then update it. it's so awesome i didn't need a disk for it =]
on the other hand i started playing WoW [world of warcraft] it's ok not that addicting but it get me pissed when i die or they don't spawn back as quickly. But yea for people who play WoW my IGN is Sushipalooza.
The next events that are coming up
-- AB pre reg at tokyo kid
-- A friend's birthday party
-- AB day [3 days]
but yea i need money to buy my skirt just to wear that day with is like $59.00 [includes shipping and handling] and then pre-reg which is like $45.00. then my friend's birthday the movies and her dinner too, oii so much money going to be wasted the next 2 months lol and i need a job like SERIOUSY! so many interviews in the past but no luck like wth i should probably start training in nail since i have my liscens it'll be at least a little something for me to do while waiting for my GED test date.
OMG i have the most crazy idea EVER Dye-ing my hair red [what do you think] not like regular red like bright red enough to see it through BUT it's $130 damn lol.

First Blog

Yes I'm going to start blogging once a week =]

Anyways It's currently 3:10am on Asian New Year AND Valentine's day kill me why not =P. So the tradition is "you cant go to other people's house [including your friend's] and people cannot come over to your house" that's some serious BS it's Valentine's day I'm going to celebrate it with my boyfriend and not care because people who believe's in superstition gets bad luck I've noticed it for awhile and boy is it bad.

On the other hand my computer died on February 13, 2010 at approximantly 8am. I reboot the computer which made the virus became worse, not only that my computer was infected the sad part was that it was a dooms day machine for years!!!! Now I have no computer and have to wait till tax returns to get a new computer which is MONTHS away, so im settling down with my boyfriend's laptop that he lend me for a bit. [NO JOKE I can't live without going on the web because I get bored easily.]
